Safety and Hygiene
The hostel complies with all current Australian Standards with respect to fire safety and is certified by both the Fire Emergency Services of WA and the Perth City Council.
The Perth City Council has also certified the hostel meets all requirements with respect to public health, sanitary and cooking facilities.

Bedrooms
We are pleased to offer a range of 4, 6 and 8 person dorms that have polished floor boards, mirrors, fans and high ceilings creating a bright airy feel. All dorms are equipped with lockers free of charge. Doubles are available with or without ensuites and we cater for families and people with disabilities. All beds have new firm inner-sprung mattresses and fresh clean linen is provided.

Kitchen, Bathrooms and Laundry
With a super-deluxe kitchen that has brand new everything including three gas stoves, oven and grill, two microwaves, 3 door glass fridge, toaster, sandwich maker and electric urn for free tea and coffee. The kitchen opens through French doors to a patio area for alfresco dining and there are fresh herbs to be picked for the gourmet chefs.

The bathrooms are fresh and clean with the women's and the two disabled facilities being completely restored. All bathrooms are professionally cleaned on a daily basis.

The laundry features all new commercial washing machines and dryer along with an iron and ironing board. There is also ample line space for hanging clothes outside.

Disabled Facilities
We have incorporated many features to ensure the comfort of guests with disabilities, including; ramp access at both the front and rear of the building, wide doorways to all common areas and two bedrooms, wide hallways, a disabled toilet, disabled ensuite/showering facilities, light switches placed at an easy to reach height, push down handles to many doors and a reception desk at a comfortable height.

Internet, Telephone and Fax Facilities
We have high speed (ADSL) internet access that is available 24 hours a day and operates using smart cards that can be used in 22 other hostels in Western Australia.
A public payphone is available 24 hours a day and fax services are available during office hours.

Public Transport
From the centre of the city and through out Northbridge a free bus service is available that drops you 50metres from the door.

The 'Blue Cat' timetable runs:

Monday-Thursday 6.50am - 6.20pm every 7min
Friday 6.50am - 6.20pm every 7min & 6.20pm - 1.05am every 15min
Saturday 8.30am - 1.00am every 15min & 8.30pm - 1.05am every 15min
Sunday 10.00am - 6.15pm every 15min

The central train station is a 6-7 minute walk through the bustling Northbridge area or a couple of minutes on the Blue Cat.

Parking
We have limited secured parking facilities and free timed on-street facilities immediately to the front of the hostel.

Lounge Room
Relax in our spacious lounge area with a good book, a movie on the 80cm T.V. or perhaps a quick cat nap.

Location
The hostel is located in Northbridge next to the beautiful Russell Square Park and is a very short walk to the heart of everything Perth and Northbridge has to offer. With a wide range of restaurants, bars, cafes and nightclubs there is sure to be something to suit everyone. Perth's cultural centre comprising the State Art Gallery, Museum, Library and Institute of Contemporary Art is all close at hand. Access to many of Perth's favourite beaches is a simple bus or train trip away and for those feeling more energetic an Olympic size swimming pool with fully equipped gymnasium, fitness classes and yoga is available at Beatty Park just 15 minutes walk away. Publicly available tennis courts are a short walk or for the more adventurous a rock climbing gymnasium is just around the corner.
